Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with expertise in hardware and software integration to join our team. The successful candidate will drive product development efforts, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the delivery of high-performance drone technology. This is a unique opportunity to lead the lifecycle of innovative products, from concept to market launch, and make a direct impact in industries like agriculture, public safety, and defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage product roadmaps to align with customer needs and company goals.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to deliver integrated product features.
- Lead agile workflows, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, using tools like ClickUp, GitHub, and Jira.
- Conduct customer user interviews and usability tests to gather feedback and refine product features.
- Monitor and analyze product performance data using visualization tools like Tableau or Excel, driving data-informed decisions.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between engineering, manufacturing, design, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, focusing on hardware and software-integrated products.
- Strong skills in ClickUp, GitHub, and agile project management workflows.
- Technical understanding of relevant software and hardware approaches.
- Familiarity with IoT systems, AI/ML applications, and robotics.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Experience conducting market research and user feedback analysis to inform product strategy.
Additional qualifications:
- Knowledge of drone technology and FAA regulations (e.g., Part 107 certification).
- Experience with relevant engineering tools.
- Familiarity with compliance standards for aerospace or defense products.
- Proven track record of success in fast-paced startup or growth environments.
